Digital bookclub
The Viking/Penguin book club is an innovative website which offers readers a host of information about books and their favourite authors.
It features blogs, regular posts from editors, authors and sales and marketing people and much more. Each month, the VP Book Club features one new Viking hardcover, one new Penguin paperback, and one Penguin Classic, all selected with reading groups in mind.
Spinebreakers
Spinebreakers.co.uk is Penguin UK's online book community run by teenagers for teenagers.
Editorial control of the site is in the hands of a core team of nine people aged between 13 and 18 years, supported by a large network of contributing teen editors from across the UK. The site offers a wide variety of multi-media content, including video and audio reviews, alternative book jackets and endings, soundtracks, author interviews, podcasts, blogs and short stories.
DK Travel
DK's travel website, Traveldk.com offers personalised, print-on-demand travel guides.
Users can combine guide book content from DK with other travellers' recommendations and reviews, and even add their own cover photograph and title.
PowerSchool
PowerTeacher, a PowerSchool product is a student information system that provides teachers, parents and administrators with information on student attendance, grades, homework and performance.
It’s extremely flexible and is available via the internet so that it can be accessed from home, school or just about anywhere.
